Bruce Linn is an experienced Company Director who heads a successful Strategic Management Consulting business based in Adelaide, South Australia.
Formerly CEO of Finlaysons Lawyers, his previous executive roles include Executive Director for EDS, responsible for all State Government business of EDS in Australia and Chief Executive of Camtech, one of Australia's leading Internet & Electronic Payments companies.
A Science graduate of The University of Adelaide, he has over 30 years experience in business management, leadership, marketing and information communications technology.

Gavin BrownAO Director of the Royal Institution of Australia
Professor Gavin Brown AO was appointed as the Inaugural Director of the Royal Institution of Australia (RiAus) in August 2008 and is supported by a first-class team who are equally committed to the goals of RiAus.
Gavin is well-accomplished in the discipline of mathematics, having become Professor of Pure Mathematics at UNSW in 1976, Dean of Science at UNSW, Vice Chancellor at Adelaide and Vice Chancellor at Sydney and receiving honorary degrees from St Andrews (1997), Dundee (2004), UNITAR (2008), Waseda (2009) and Sydney (2009). As the leader of KPMG Adelaide’s R&D practice since August 2002, Mathew has extensive experience working with clients and managing R&D engagements and is one of the most experienced and qualified R&D advisers in Australia.
Mathew has over 12 years experience in R&D tax consulting and management, previously being employed as a Manager on the R&D Start Program at AusIndustry and as the Financial Controller for Scan Optics, an R&D based optical equipment manufacturer.
Mathew’s major R&D clients are active in a number of industries, including renewable energy, defence, software, manufacturing, biotechnology, mining, wine, and health.
Mathew has successfully assisted and been instrumental in providing strategic advice to many companies in their endeavours to procure grants funds and other financial support opportunities, relevant to their industry sector.

Barry Burgan Associate Professor
Associate Professor Burgan joined the University some 20 years ago after a 10 year career in the public sector, and then with KPMG (Touche Ross) in corporate consulting. Initially, his role at the University was as Manager and then Director of the SA Centre for Economic Studies. He then moved across to an academic role, firstly in the School of Economics and then in the School of Commerce. In January 2006 Barry took on the role as Head of the School of Commerce, and now is the head of the University of Adelaide Business School.
Assoc Prof. Burgan research interests are in infrastructure financing and valuation – including project and policy evaluation and cost benefit analysis. He has had roles in chairing and board membership of financial organisations. He has particular interests in soft infrastructure issues (broadband and telecommunications and art and culture, housing finance and markets), and in the modelling of infrastructure and its role in regional development. He has recently completed an involvement as a chief investigator in a major cross-disciplinary study (ARC linkage grant) of the creative sector in South Australia - with his contribution being an assessment of the financial and economic structure of the sector, and issues impacting on investment in the industry and job patterns and creation. Leanna ReadBAgSc, PhD, FTSE CEO and Managing Director, TGR BioSciences Pty Ltd
Leanna is the founding CEO of TGR BioSciences, and Adelaide-based biotechnology company established in 2001. She is also a member of BioAngels, an Adelaide-based Angel investor network.
A physiologist by training, she has 90 scientific papers and adjunct professorial appointments at Flinders University and the University of SA. Previous positions include CEO of the Child Health Research Institute and the CRC for Tissue Growth and Repair. Leanna’s industry contributions have been recognized by appointment to federal boards including PMSEIC, the Industry R&D Board and the Future Manufacturing Industry Innovation Council, as well as State appointments such as the SA Economic Development Board and the Premier’s Science and Research Council. Kimon LycosB Managing Director, Mihell & Lycos
Kimon Lycos is regarded as one of the foremost Australian experts on marketing technology and innovation to other companies. His 20 year experience includes consulting to large multinationals in Europe, such as Ericsson, Allgon, AtlasCopco and UPM Kymmene. He also co-founded an international B2B advertising agency, Laurent & Partners in Stockholm, Sweden.
